I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported me in the 2024 Primary Election. This campaign was a crucial learning experience, revealing much about the workings of Idaho politics. Though I did not win, I achieved my goals and gained invaluable insights.
Your votes and encouragement mean the world to me. This journey has confirmed the presence of corruption within our political system, as several individuals have come forward with alarming information. To combat these issues, I am committed to building a trustworthy team and a strong foundation.

Justin Mitson's campaign is dedicated to rooting out corruption in politics. He pledges to hold corrupt politicians accountable and push for reforms that restore integrity to Idaho's government.

Justice will fight to prevent the influence of corrupt crony politics from infiltrating Idaho. He believes that decisions affecting Idahoans should be made by Idahoans, not by special interests in Washington or some corporate office. Follow the Money and we will find politicians on both sides making some "interesting decisions."
We would be insane to think that the cancer of Washington D.C. money and principles has somehow skipped Idaho. Exposing Soft Money and Back Room Deals is the goal! Justice will work to shine a light on "special considerations" that influence Idaho's politics.
"Only in the U.S. do we call it lobbying - everywhere else in the world we call it corruption and bribery."
Justice is committed to returning power to the people of Idaho - all voices. He will prioritize listening to the concerns of constituents and advocating for policies that benefit the community.
Fair Taxation for Corporate Entities: While welcoming corporate entities to Idaho, Justice believes they should pay their fair share in taxes without the crazy loopholes or sweetheart incentives. He will push for tax policies that ensure corporations contribute to the well-being of the state without putting an extra burden on small businesses or taxpayers.
Focus on Free, Fair, and Inclusive Government: Justice will work to ensure that Idaho's government remains focused on principles of freedom, fairness, and inclusivity. He will fight against discrimination and advocate for policies that benefit all Idahoans, regardless of background or political affiliation. Corporations are not entities, and while they should have consideration, they should NOT have the same protections as humans.
Mitson recognizes the importance of returning political discourse to a more civilized tone. "Shrill screaming and destroying property are not going to get what we want done." He will lead by example and promote respectful dialogue, even in the face of disagreement. Additionally, Mitson aims to increase the representation of Democrats in Idaho's government to ensure that all voices are heard and considered in the decision-making process. "Democrats have lost so much over the last few years. How do we take on the establishment Republicans, who laugh and jeer at Democrats? We compete with good ideas and put pressure on corruption, whenever and wherever it's found. With just 7 seats in the Senate, the opposition can just roll over us. It's up to us as a minority to pick our battles and fight hard."
Being strategic is challenging and requires taking a long-term view. We cannot simply throw tantrums on the Senate floor and expect to achieve our goals. Instead, we need to engage effectively, secure key committee assignments, and apply legitimate pressure through expert means. This is going to require diligence among all Senate Democrats and coordination with the House Representatives.
As an avid sportsman, Justice is deeply committed to preserving Idaho's natural beauty and resources for future generations. He understands the importance of striking a balance between environmental conservation and economic prosperity. While advocating for real enhancements and protections to safeguard our environment, Justice recognizes the need to address certain policies that may hinder business growth. However, he firmly believes that it is possible to find a middle ground that fosters job creation while ensuring the sustainability of our water, air, and soil.
Not crazy woke—not here to make a life of politics. Our current system is so messed up with incentives and taxes that it's hard for a real Idahoan to get by. I will commit to self-imposed term limits (8 years max) and will work to drive out and expose the corruption that has infiltrated Idaho like a cancer. I'm a successful businessperson who, at this time, is NOT interested in panhandling for money for my campaign. I'm self-financing so that it is clear that I can't be bought or bribed by any special interest or donor. I love all Idahoans and want us to be free from the tyranny of an overreaching government.
